A True Leap of Faith
The LEAP Foundation is a very important part of my life that I am honored to commit my time, energy and resources. With the help of two nurses, I started this organization in 1991 with the goal of taking a surgical team to the Dominican Republic to operate on babies born with cleft lips and palates. We planned for a one time venture. I had no idea that I was about to embark on the most incredible adventure of my life that is now 17 years in the making and going stronger than ever. We have either been to or operated on patients from the Dominican Republic, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Laos, India, Yemen, Algeria and China. Visit - www.leap-foundation.org
Dallas Day Surgery Center
I am proud to be a founding member of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, Inc., and the Dallas Day Surgery Center. This prestigious group of doctors was established over twenty years ago and now consists of nine plastic surgeons who all office together at the Pyramid Building located just north of Dallas NorthPark Center. The Dallas Day Surgery Center is a fully accredited surgery center conveniently located in the same office building. The Dallas Day Surgery Center was the focus of an article published in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for its exemplary record of safety and efficacy in an outpatient cosmetic surgery center.
