Welcome to Information Uncover. We are a strategic management consulting company. We have been in business for over fifteen years. We look for, analyze, and supply strategic information to bariatric or medical weight loss service providers. We help the providers increase their chances of success by enabling them to use strategic information to prepare for plausible, future events. We focus only on the bariatric industry, building scenarios that promote practices that can allow the providers to gain an advantage in the weight loss and weight management market.

We monitor and analyze the medical weight loss industry environment to uncover early signs of future opportunities and threats. We advise bariatric or medical weight loss service providers on what the future environment might look like, and what the providers can do to enhance their chances of being successful in that future environment.

We continually review information related to the bariatric industry, and we discuss industry related topics with bariatric industry experts. These activities allow us to learn about research, issues, and new methods associated with weight loss and weight management. We assess our findings to establish plausible, future scenarios. These scenarios can illuminate upcoming opportunities and threats.

Many of the activities we engage in are included in a set of activities commonly called environmental scanning and analysis. We consider environmental scanning and analysis and scenario analysis to be essential elements of strategic management.
In the past, we concentrated on the aerospace industry, the computer industry, the air bag industry, and the health care industry. Recently, we began applying our expertise exclusively to the medical weight loss segment of the health care industry.
A portion of our environmental scanning activities is similar to what a press-clipping service provider might do. However, we focus on one industry -- the bariatric industry. We attend industry related conferences. We attend medical weight loss continuing education courses. And we frequently talk with bariatric industry experts. So, we have the knowledge to really assess the medical weight loss industry. Thus, we can provide information and analysis, including scenarios, that can enhance a medical weight loss service organization's chances of meeting its objectives.

Environmental scanning and analysis is especially useful for detecting environmental or external events that can enable an organization to quickly respond to changing industry conditions. We can provide ongoing periodic scanning results and strategic insights. The scanning results and strategic insights are of particular importance in strategic management activities, including SWOT analysis, where an organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are measured.

We monitor and analyze bariatric industry information. The information is taken from newspapers, weight loss or bariatric industry publications, wire service reports, and other secondary sources. We also talk with industry experts.

We illuminate potential opportunities and threats in a periodic report that a client can use to better manage its tactical and strategic activities.
