Last chance to plant wildflower seeds!
Plant Vegetable Plants: Lettuce, Mustard and other Greens, Peas, Spinach
Plant Herbs: Perennial herbs (Rosemary, Oregano, Chives, etc.) Cilantro, Dill, Fennel, Parsley
Plant Ornamental Annual Plants: Pansy, Snapdragon, Sweet Pea, Johnny Jump-Up or Violas, Sweet Alyssum, Dusty Miller, Flowering Kale & Cabbage

Pruning: Now would be great to cut back dead limbs or even shape your trees and shrubs. Make sure to do it before it’s completely dormant.
Overseed Lawn: Annual or perennial Rye grass can be used. Once it warms up both die back. Follow instructions on bag.

Before a Freeze: Water plants well before a freeze. This will keep roots warmer and help avoid freeze damage. Cover susceptible plants in advance of a freeze with frost cloth. Make sure to secure the fabric well at the soil with landscape pins .
Keep Garden Happy: Spray your garden & lawn on a weekly basis with liquid seaweed to help plants adapt to cooler weather. Nature’s Guide Seaweed & Medina Plus are great options!
