The scope of our practice includes surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal diseases, cosmetic periodontal procedures, the placement of dental implants and the treatment of gingival recession. We offer the latest advances in all aspects of treatment including low radiation digital radiology (70 to 90% less radiation than conventional films) and state of the art infection control procedures.
Periodontal disease is responsible for over 75% of all adult tooth loss in the United States. If your dentist has informed you that you have periodontal disease and/or if you are experiencing symptoms such as bleeding gums, swollen gums, tooth mobility or bad breath please contact us. On your first visit a comprehensive periodontal examination will be performed and a diagnosis of your condition will be made. Dr. Turunen will discuss a plan of treatment for you as well as all treatment options. We will work closely with you and your dentist to help restore your periodontal health.
Dental implants are a superior treatment option to replace missing, cracked, or otherwise failing teeth. They can also be used to replace complete and partial dentures or to retain complete dentures. A comprehensive oral examination is also necessary to determine if you are a candidate for Implant Dentistry.
