Husqvarna Viking Ruby
It is “love at first touch” for the Husqvarna Viking Ruby. This wonderful sewing/embroidery machine has a full color screen, hoops to do large embroideries and USB capabilities. In addition, you get that wonderful precise sewing of Viking. If you are considering a top end machine for Christmas then now is the time to put one in layaway. Come by for a demonstration of this wonderful machine. The Designer Diamond is still the top of the line model, however the Ruby has many of the Diamond features.

Brother has introduced the Entrepeneur 1000. It is a new ten needle machine with advanced lighting and connectivity. This is a wonderful machine if you are thinking of starting a home-based business. It is user friendly and with the large screen, very easy to see. With the new cap frame you have an “ear to ear” area of embroidery. Currently there is special financing on this machine, so stop by the store for a demonstration. We can get you up and running in time to catch some of that Christmas business. Our packages include support as well as a starter kit of thread, bobbins and stabilizer. If you are not ready to step up to the 10-needle, then you might want to consider the 6– needle, the PR-650.

In an effort to help our customers show off their creativity and aid in their Christmas gift giving we are holding several classes that will help you create one of a kind gifts. We are focusing on making the gift unique to the recipient. So we will give you lots of ideas and get you started on your next creative project.
For the baby we have a Quick Baby gifts that is geared for birth thru about age 2. This class is open to beginners, however you must be able to thread your machine and sew a straight seam, otherwise we suggest that you take an intro to sewing class.
Giving gifts to teens and above we have the Stripy Fringe Frenzy Quilt that you can customize. Use the fabric that fits the person receiving the quilt. In addition we have Quick gifts for All Ages. In this class Mary will have all types of ideas for gifts for all ages and then you will walk out the door with several finished projects that will be ready to be wrapped and placed under the tree. This class is geared for the busy sewer as Mary will have kits assembled and ready for you to dive right in. So, join us for one or all of these fun classes.

Join us on Saturday, December 4 from 10-4 for a wonderful day of learning new techniques and the latest sewing looks from National Educator Chris Dollinar. Chris will be joining us for a fun-filled day where you will learn about fun effects like ruffles, pleats, gathering and other surface embellishments. As well as inspiring piping techniques, decorative stitches and embroideries. You need not even own a sewing machine to benefit from this great “sewing” day.
Chris will have some wonderful samples and will do demonstrations of the various techniques. We will then have various demo stations set up if you would like to try one of the techniques. You will leave with a new feeling of inspiration and the confidence to make your next creative project a success.
