Welcome to the Coppell Humane Society website. We are a foster home organization and keep the animals until they find their forever homes, no matter how long that takes. We have no paid staff.
We do not have a shelter - all the animals reside in private foster homes.
Pictures and descriptions of all our available pets can be viewed online at PetFinder.
You can see the pets in person every weekend at our mobile Adopt-A-Pets events.
How You Can Help
There are many ways that you can help the Coppell Humane Society fulfill its mission to serve homeless, needy companion animals in the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex and surrounding communities.
You can make several different types of financial donations or you can volunteer your time.
Changing Animals Lives, One Adoption at a Time!
The following is a touching message from a CHS Adopter, it shows how one adoption can change the life of an animal forever.
We just wanted to let you know how well Paisley Jo (formally "Pepa") is doing in her new home. My husband fell in love with her over Labor Day weekend at the Flower Mound PetsMart when he was taking our little dog to get groomed. He immediately started sending me pictures of her and wanted for me to meet her as we were doing errands on Saturday- after seeing them together it was a done deal.
Paisley Jo has adjusted very well to our family and has befriended our dog and our other cat. She LOVES to lay on the couch and watch the birds and she basically rules the roost in our home. You may remember that Paisley came from the Carrollton Shelter and was on the "euthanize list." She was later transferred to the Double Oak Veterinarian Center for approximately 2 months until it was her turn to be shown at PetsMart for adoption.
She is loving life and gets whatever she wants. It warms our hearts to know that she came from such a nightmarish background to living the life she was meant to have- she is so sweet and we love her to pieces!!!
Be sure to visit Petfinder to see a list of our available pets.
