Women of the Woodlands opened in 2003 by Dr. Emma Jane Sims. Her goal was to provide a warm and caring environment while focusing on offering ladies of all ages every available management option, so that together the best possible program might be formulated.

Her practice has grown to include three additional female physicians who are all either board certified or eligible. Each doctor shares the similar philosophy of making a difference and changing the face of medicine by creating a practice that focuses on helping women take control of their health.
The focus of the practice is to show compassion and understanding to every patient, from adolescence, through childbirth, and into the menopausal years, recognizing each as an individual.
