Over the years, Parrish, Moody & Fikes, p.c. has developed an ever expanding niche in the health care arena providing services through out the state of Texas and surrounding states to rural community hospitals and other health care organizations. Today, Parrish, Moody & Fikes, p.c. serves more than 150 hospitals and other health care related providers.
Parrish, Moody & Fikes, p.c. was originally W. M. Parrish and Co., established by Mr. W. M. Parrish, Sr. We are a professional corporation licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Our firm currently consists of nine shareholders in active practice; W. M. (Bill) Parrish, Jr., Michael L. Oatman, Kermit H. Lowe, G. Cass Sansom, Carol S. McIntosh, Deborah R. Whitley, Tommy L. Davis, Christa S. Worley, and Kneeley D. Lawdermilk, all of whom are Certified Public Accountants licensed by the Texas State Board of Certified Public Accountants.
Our firm includes fifteen CPAs with memberships including American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Hospital Association (THA), Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals (TORCH), as well as many other healthcare related organizations.
In an effort to better serve our clients, Parrish, Moody & Fikes, p.c. has a regional affiliation with a network of independent accounting firms through the Southwest Practice Management Group and Practisewise Network. These associations have expanded Parrish, Moody & Fikes, p.c.'s ability to provide the advantage of additional capabilities and manpower requirements.
Since 1981, Parrish, Moody & Fikes, p.c. has been a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA, and undergoes a professional peer review by an independent CPA firm every three years.
