Annual wellness diagnostic testing is even more important in Senior pets, age seven and older. Did you know that our hospital can offer your pet more than conventional Western medicine? Dr. Wickel is certified in Acupuncture. Meet Ben, who joined the Claws and Paws team August 3, 2009 after moving to Texas from his hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
He brings with him a passion to help animals and a love of critters of all kinds. Ben and his boyfriend Danny share their Pearland home with quite a zoo! They have three dogs: Rocket, Clutch and Dempsey...Stewart the ferret, a cockatiel named Alec, Verin the sugar glider, and an ocean of fish!
When Ben is not working hard at Claws and Paws, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, heading out for a day at the beach or curling up with a good book and a lap full of dogs.
Ben has now been with us a little over a year! Next time you visit, say hello to Ben and congratulate him on his one year anniversary of employment with us. Thank you Ben for an excellent first year! We love having you here!
