Well, look no farther than Tony's Family Restaurant. The meals this staff cooks up taste as if they were prepared in your grandma's kitchen. We offer the freshest meats and vegetables possible. We hand-bread all our meats and veggies and serve nothing but Homemade Mashed Potatoes. All our Desserts are homemade and our Cakes are made from scratch.
We realize how hectic everyone's schedule is, so we offer hot steam table meals for dinner as well as lunch. It is a great way for families on the go to eat a healthy meal because it is so quick and it allows time for them to eat together. For their hard work, and diverse menu, the restaurant was awarded an honorable mention nod in the December 2008 Texas Monthly as one of the top forty restaurants in Texas small towns. In Austin County, the restaurant was voted to have the best all around food, best breakfast, and best chicken fried steak for Ten Years and was named best service at a restaurant Seven Years. Specialties include Hamburger Steaks, Fried Chicken, Chicken Fried Steak, Chicken Fried Chicken, Fried Catfish and Liver and Onions, among other country favorites. The restaurant also does a homemade soup each day, a favorite with customers.
We're known for our country food. We're really in the perfect location where if you're traveling west or east, we're in the middle of where ever you're going.
