Welcome to DR Show Horses! We are located 45 minutes East of Austin, just minutes from Smithville, Texas. We are 30 minutes from ABIA International Airport and Travis County Expo Center. DR Show Horses is centrally located and is only a few miles from highways 71, 21, and 290.

Our program includes Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas. Our passion and focus is on halter and pleasure horses. Training halter, english and western pleasure, whether it involves starting a young futurity prospect or "re-making" a seasoned veteran.

We accept outside horses to train and show, as well as, offer several for sale. Our training methods are modern and include positive reinforcement as part of our means of communication that produces quick results without stress.

Coaching students has also been very rewarding. After determining an owner's goals, we help them set out a plan to achieve them, taking a person's ability and budget into consideration. Whether it be a 4H student or someone ready to take on the World, we help them achieve their dreams. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM....IT MAY BE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER...WAITING FOR YOU.

Training and finishing is available for Halter, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, and Reining. Training programs are developed based upon each individual's needs.

Lessons are available for beginning and intermediate riders. We will come to you and your horse or you can bring your horse to us. We also offer several quality, safe, professional show mounts for lessons use as well.

We offer a Sales Preparation program that includes training while we sell your horse for you. Our program reduces the
hassle and stress of selling for the owner with only a minimum monthly fee. Our success rate is absolutely unbeatable with two out of three horses placing within four weeks!

DR Show Horses is proud to announce our 2010 Stallion line up........

We have had the great opportunity to add a fabulous new stallion to our roster....I R Conclusive.
We recently purchased this young stallion from the Price’s in Brenham Texas, after they had the opportunity to win 2006 APHA Reserve Congress Weanling Stallion with him. Sired by the great producing stallion Casual Mr, I R Conclusive is the only son of “Mr” that is available to the public.

Our facility includes 10-stall Barnmaster barn with a hot and cold wash rack, a large tack room,
a stock for veterinarian and palpation needs, and a foaling stall. All stalls have rubber mats
with cedar shavings, automatic waters and timed lights. A Superior 6 horse hot walker, a 160 x 80 lighted arena, two round pens, a permanent trail course, a western pleasure track, a longing training pole, and pure sugar sand for top quality premium footing throughout the 13 acres.
We offer separate turnout in paddocks, and daily grooming and conditioning.

This exciting duo became partners in May 2010 and with only 1 horse show to try their talents together they were bound for Pinto World Championships. Teamed with Devon the duo brought home TOP TEN placings and FINALIST in almost every class they entered!! The last class they placed 1st and 2nd winning RESERVE WORLD CHAMPION in Western Discipline Rail.
