Sams wife, Gail, is a public speaker and personality trainer. He has 3 children, Laura, who works in the dental office; daughter, Kate, and husband, Johnny are missionaries in Africa; and Kyle, a boilermaker and welder.
Sam went on a dental mission trip to Russia where, as head of Treasures of the Heart's dental team, he treated orphans.
He enjoys sailing, fishing, photography, and almost anything mechanical or technical, including the latest dental equipment, such as Digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and computers.
