Our Motel is a relaxing mix of Rustic and Historic, renovated barracks from the cavalry. All rooms have 2 Queen size beds, private bath and satellite TV. Handicap rooms are available. Open 7 days a week for reservations.

The RV Park welcomes all travelers and rallies. All sites have full hook-ups, including cable TV, telephone connections and wireless Internet. The Day Room provides use of a telephone and a direct connection to Internet service.

In the heat of the summer the spring-fed swimming pool is always refreshing. The pool is the third largest in Texas and stays 68 degrees year round. The surrounding park offers picnic areas equipped with BBQ cooking facilities and tables.

The children have a place to go also. They can join friends at the Youth Activity Center to play various arcade games, ping-pong, tennis and basketball. Teen dances are held periodically through the year, along with cookouts and hay rides.

A dream of one Fort Clark Member, Lt. Col. Ralph E. Beard, Jr., USAF (ret.), is now a tribute to the U.S. Cavalry.

During the official dedication ceremony in 1983, the "Empty Saddle" memorial was donated to Fort Clark Association, Inc. by Mr. Beard and other members who donated the material and built the monument.
