Debt is the opposite of giving, the proof of greed. It sacrifices your future to satisfy your present. Giving is returning to God to store up for your future.

There are two economic systems in the world today: God's and man's. It should not surprise you that there is a sharp contrast between how the world handles finances and how God would have you handle finances.

In God's economy, the central figure is the personal, living Lord. The word of God has a lot to say about finances. Did you realize that there are about 500 verses on prayer, less than 500 on faith, but over 2,300 on how to handle finances?

Jesus incorporated finances more than any other subject into his teachings. What competes with your study, fellowship, service and relationship with the Lord more than finances? The Bible deals with finance with such intensity because it competes directly with Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives.

In 1995, our co-founders Ed Stevens (a CPA) and Charles Curry (an ex-bank president) came together and formed a ministry dedicated to providing the highest quality financial education and debt management services to their clients: If you put the client first, God will take care of the rest. The two men prayed daily, rented a small office in San Antonio, Texas, and Christian Financial Services (CFS) was born.

Through seminars and face to face counseling Christian Finanacial Services has educated over 30,000 people from all walks of life.
