I was born & raised in Uvalde and left for a number of years, but recently came back to my home town. I have had my real estate license about 15 years and I received my Broker's license in January, 2007.
I hold the following designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and E-Pro Certification (Internet Professionalism Certificate) in addition to being a member of the Uvalde Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and the local Multiple Listing Service.
I am also active in the community with the Chamber of Commerce, Chili Peppers, El Progreso Club, Uvalde High School Alumni Association as a board member, and the Methodist Church.

Marvin was born & raised in Uvalde and graduated from Uvalde High School in 1960. He attended SWTJC and then moved to Houston. In 1976 he purchased Auto Supply Store in Sealy. Then in 1983 he was a stockbroker in Houston for 4 years. The next 8 years Marvin worked in investor relations for Sun Records. Since that time he has been self-employed. He managed a ranch in Dimmit County for 10 years and has had his real estate license since the 70’s. Marvin was married from 1962 until his wife passed away in 1998. He then moved back to Uvalde in 2000. He has 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren living in San Antonio & Austin. With Marvin’s varied background and experience he is sure to be an asset to Graves Real Estate.

Kathie is a retired teacher and taught for 24 years, 15 years in the Uvalde school district. Her Mother is a native Uvaldean and came back to Uvalde so Kathie moved here in 1974. Kathie also deals in antiques and collectibles. Kathie is a widow and her husbank had a real estate license before her so she has had experience in real estate. Kathie works with both buyers and sellers in all types of real estate. With Kathie's varied experience she has worked with the public for many years and that will enhance her experience in real estate.
