We are excited to announce that two leading governmental and nonprofit audit CPA firms are joining forces. The firms of John R. Pechacek, CPA, with forty-five years of continuous service to independent school districts and charter schools, and Belt Harris & Associates, LLLP, an emerging leader in the municipal, county, and special district sector, have pooled their resources in a continual effort to provide the highest level of service to our clientele. Both firms share the unique characteristic of being solely dedicated to auditing governmental and nonprofit entities, and the common culture of providing a family oriented environment where all team members are valued. Under our new banner, we will be serving clients in East Texas, the Gulf Coast Region, and Central Texas from offices in Houston, Bellville, and Austin. Our combined experience and resources increases our ability to serve a wider range of government and nonprofit types. Our client list now includes 75 school districts, 30 charter schools, 50 cities, 15 utility districts, 7 counties, 7 appraisal districts, and a host of other governments ranging from universities to Native American Reservations. Consequently, we have highly experienced personnel with each client type to ensure outstanding audit services tailored to any sector.
In a similar effort to enhance our workforce, we proudly welcome the promotion of Nathan Krupke, CPA from Senior Manager to Partner. Nathan has worked on more than 600 audit engagements over the course of his career, including 200 utility district audits. With more than eleven years of government audit experience, he is able to provide our clients with the high level of knowlege and service required to get the job done right.
