Second Chance for HVAC Fall Tuneup/Maintenance Reimbursement
Get Up to $150 Back; Gain Energy Efficiency Fall is the perfect time to tune up your HVAC system for the winter months ahead and save money at the same time. Keeping heat pump and electric central heating units operating properly and at top efficiency prevents equipment failure and extends the life of the unit. Proper maintenance can improve unit efficiencyby as much as 20 percent. Members who have HVAC/heat tuneups and maintenance performed on their residential electric units during the month of October 2010 can receive a reimbursement up to $150.
The work must be performed by a licensed, qualified contractor during the month of October 2010, and will be limited to the first 75 members who submit the required forms for the HILCO reimbursement.
To qualify, the members receipt from a qualified professional contract or must bear the contractors license number and the contractors certification that the maintenance performed was classified as a yearly maintenance intended to make the unit more energy efficient. Limit one HVAC maintenance rebate perhousehold/membership in 2010.
The rebate program is part of HILCOs ongoing energy-efficiency program to help members conserve energy.
