What is Unified Tae Kwon Do?Tae Kwon Do translated means "foot-hand-art", and is the Korean system of self-defense. It is more than just physical training, but encompasses the mental as well as the spiritual. Unified Tae Kwon Do is the world's most effective form of self-defense and physical fitness for men, women and children. Above and beyond all goals in Tae Kwon Do is the ultimate goal improvement. The aim of the trainee is perfection. Unified Tae Kwon Do is an organization of schools and instructors who work together, follow the same organizational guidelines, teach the same techniques, and have the same purpose and goals. These schools are formed and directed under the leadership of
Grandmaster B.K. Park.
Grandmaster Park is one of the founders of UTKD, and his qualifications include:
-9th degree black belt

- Over 40 years teaching experience
-More than 2000 black belt students in the United States
-Member of ROK Army All-Star team
-Korean national champion 1965 & 1967
-Special award granted at the 1967 National Team Competition
-President's Cup for best technique and most skilled fighter in attendance
