Fields of Faith went really well last week. We took 50 students to Abilene, and several made some sort of spiritual decision or asked for prayer. There were thousands of students and adults at the event, which made for a powerful time of worship.
Adrian Branch is coming November 10th. Adrian is a former NBA basketball player and is now a commentator for ESPN. Adrian is a gifted communicator and we look forward to an awesome night of worship. Make sure your student does not miss out on this exciting event. Small Groups continue this week. I am glad to hear about the things God is doing in our groups. Please pray for God to strengthen relationships with him and relationships between our students.

ha.) All kidding aside, listening to the right voice can
make a world of difference in a persons life. So, who do you listen to? When we listen to God, heres what we discover.

1. Hes a Personal God. Ex.20:2a, I am the LORD your God... What a great joy it is to serve a personal God. He is not something, Hes someone.

2. Hes a delivering God. Ex.20:2b, ...who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. The Israelites were held in slavery, and God was telling Moses Im the one who has set you free.

3. Hes a jealous God. Ex.20:3, You shall have no other gods before Me. Because of who He is and what He has done for us, we are to have no other gods before Him. Ex. 34:1-14 Vs. 14 for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

When you read this I will be in Kiev, Ukraine, with the Singing Men of North Central Texas and Michael Gott. I covet your prayers as we, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Baptist Churches, present the Gospel to the people of Ukraine.

It was fun to burn a note this past Sunday. God has blessed and it is good to be debt free and to know that the faithfulness of God's people through the last 5 years has been significant. As I visit with other pastors and staff, our church is in a unique position. Not only have we been able to pay off our debt but we have had the funds available to expand nearly every single ministry as we want to. In addition, we have been able to be generous with the resources that God has given and in turn give back to others such as the money we sent to Southeast Texas during the hurricane, the money we gave to Tri-County Assoc to pay the BSM directors salary for two years, the funds to repair Davey Chapman's house, the funds to send people to Peru, and the list could go on and on. God has blessed through your faithful efforts. Sunday, we are going to start our meetings for revival. I pray that God speak to your heart and that you make the effort to be here. I am looking forward to all God is going to do.
