Pets and Friends is family-owned and operated by Gene and Susan Allen and Susan's Mom, Sue Ann Richardson. Our family members also include a beloved, macho Boston Terrier, Charlie Brown and a lovable, mischievous Border Collie, Buddy, a big black and white cat, Ziggy and our newest addition, Andy, a Bengal mix.
We are located just outside the city of Tyler, where the pets and cattle enjoy the peace and quiet of the green pastures.
The loss of a family pet to most of us is much like the loss of any other member. We want to respond to this loss in a way that lets you find closure while preserving the dignity of your pet. We want you to know that the care and services you choose for your companion are performed properly and compassionately.
All pets that come to Pets and Friends receive the individual attention and respect they deserve enabling you to have peace of mind in these trying times. Our precise tracking system coupled with our gentle hands and tender hearts assures you that all services are performed with care and integrity.
The pet-loving owners of Pets and Friends can assist you in making arrangements for your beloved pet. We offer a private funeral home room where you can be present for the cremation and you can return home with your pet immediately, if you desire. We can also return your pet's cremains to you or to the clinic of your choice. You may call us directly or have your veterinary clinic call us to make all the arrangements. As pet owners, we sincerely say, "We are sorry about the loss of your pet."
