Important SECURITY ALERT for TrustTexas Bank VISA® Debit Card Customers!
There has been an international security breach on the Visa® portion of some local banks’ debit/credit cards. The compromise appears to have been at the merchant level, which has affected TrustTexas Bank’s customers in terms of their debit card use. In an effort to protect our customers and minimize fraud on your account, we have temporarily placed restrictions on TrustTexas Bank Visa® Debit Cards to be used in the UNITED STATES ONLY. If you plan to use your debit card outside of the United States, please call the bank prior to leaving the country. We encourage every customer to monitor their account regularly for any unusual activity, and encourage customers to carry a second form of payment (cash or check) in case the merchant does not have PIN capabilities.
If any unusual activity is noted on your account please alert the bank immediately. Our online banking is always open and the easiest way to check your account for real time activity.
Please contact TrustTexas Bank Deposit Operation Services at 800-342-0679, or stop by your nearest branch to report unauthorized transactions, or if you have further questions.
