In 1978 Vinny Schillaci opened what is now overwhelmingly regarded as the best sub shop in the Clear Lake area...NEPTUNE SUBS! He began with a 12 foot by 24 foot space, two tables and three bar stools. Today Neptune Subs boasts a dining area that seats 40, a "Back Porch" Patio and home or office delivery servicing the local area.
Vinny's original idea was to create a relaxed friendly atmosphere with the assurance of fantastic food, reasonably priced and fast efficient service. Neptune Subs is one of those great restaurants that you feel is your own special hideaway. Vinny's personalized service is what creates that atmosphere.
There is an unlimited selection of subs made to order, a couple of pots of soup simmering, overstuffed baked potatoes so filled with extras that they overflow! You are surrounded by stained glass windows and tiffany lamps, plus lots of laughter and good music.
And if you happen to shine a little or a lot on top, well then stop in and check out Vinny's "BALD MONDAY" special the first Monday of every month. The more you shine the cheaper you dine!
