Located in the outskirts of San Antonio Texas, about 15 miles from Floresville, TX and about 40 miles from Pleasanton, TX, Black Feather Taxidermy is dedicated to serving you.
For over 13 years we have been creating the art of Taxidermy.
We take the utmost care of all specimens brought to our taxidermy shop.
Our taxidermy practice uses only current and innovative technology, so that we may consistently deliver you the highest quality taxidermy mounts.
Before leaving our studio all mounts are given an intense attention to detail

Only tanned skins and top quality materials are used so that you can expect our mounts to have superior longevity, giving you a mount that you will be proud to display.
Now going full time taxidermy to better serve our clients. We will continue to strive to recreate, what your animal looked liked prior to your harvest.
In addition to taking a game head mounting course taught by WORLD CHAMPION JOE MEDER, and attending taxidermy seminars, we guide for a
few outfitters which allows us even more time in the field, when scouting
we are studing animals nautral movments, taking lots of pictures, and many
hours of video; as well as spending time in deer breeder pens. We do not
mount off of memory, only reference pictures.
