JW Construction was founded in 2001 by Justin Watkins. He started in high school working for San Juan Construction Company out of Ridgway, Colorado. He learned complete house construction from the first initial consultation with homeowners and architects to handing the keys over. After graduation he went to the University of Northern Colorado. He then moved to the Dallas area to pursue a music career. He went to work for a framing crew in the area and it didn't take long to realize that the home construction business was a lot different in Texas. He didn't believe that the quality he was used to and lived by was present. So as he chased his music career around Texas and beyond and knew that he would have to find something more lucrative for himself and family. That is when JW Construction became a reality. He knew that if he started his own company the projects he took on would be up to the quality that he expected and knew that his customer base would grow knowing that his company would be built on honesty, quality, and integrity. A few of the aspects that he thought were missing from the Dallas, Texas market. As a result, a high percentage of his business is from repeat customers and referrals.
