Neumeyer Upholstery & Restoration is owned and operated by Betty Neumeyer. She is assisted by her highly skilled daughter, Laura Russell.

Betty has been an upholsterer since 1968. During those 35 years of experience, she was a full-time upholstery instructor at Houston Community College for 23 years. With 20 students bringing in their own projects every semester, she worked on every kind of furniture project imaginable. This background has enabled her to be creative as well as to do high quality work.
In addition to working with traditional furniture, Betty and Laura upholster hide-a-beds, recliners, sectionals, cornice boards, headboards, boat seats and antiques. They can repair or restyle frames, replace carvings, do gold leaf, repair veneers and restore trunks. They also refinish wood with traditional lacquers, white wash furniture, apply crackle finish or water base polyurethanes.
