Eating disorders are not about food, but about learning how to effectively deal with conflicting emotions and behaviors in a way that preserves ones integrity.
I take a direct and compassionate approach to treating individuals suffering from Eating Disorders, Depression, and other stress-related issues. Together we will identify how to pave a new path toward recovery.

I have been in private practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over four years. Prior to this, I worked in a number of environments including inpatient psychiatric units and outpatient counseling.

My focus is on issues related to adult and adolescent women such as: eating disorders, body image concerns, depression, anxiety/stress management and low-self esteem.

Counseling consists of cognitive behavioral therapy as well as dialectical behavioral therapymeaning the sessions will be heavily-based on dialogue and setting goals to overcome the issue at hand.

My methods motivate and empower clients to stimulate change within their life.
