TEXANA Trails & Lodge B&B lodging and event facility is located just six miles from the Colorado River, southwest of La Grange, Texas. On this promontory, above woodland and prairie interwoven in the Colorado River Valley below, are commanding views of sunrise, sunset and surrounding pastoral countryside.
I delight in sharing our historic property with guests. Our gracious homestead was settled in 1835 on this hilltop overlooking the Colorado River Valley, before Texas was a Republic or a state of the Union. The stone Georgian revival home, originally located on 2,500 acres with a stone stable, was first built by the Brookfield-Evans-Cremer Family. The Jos. C. Brown family acquired the property in 1893, enjoying it as a second home for five generations thereafter.

Texana Trails & Lodge provides guests with opportunity to rest, relax and renew their spirit in a precious natural setting, rich in cultural heritage of south Central Texas.
