Cielo Vista Insurance was founded in March 1977 by George R. Saenz Sr. CVIA started as an Auto, Homeowners, and Life Insurance agency and within a few years ventured into the Commercial Insurance arena. In Auto and Home we represent several national companies-having represented Progressive since 1985. The same holds true for health and life insurance. Mr. Saenz has been a representative for Blue Cross Blue Shield for over twenty years. A majority of our companies that we represent are nationally recognized and have been in business for several decades. Our motto is If its insurance, we write it. Cielo Vista Insurance is now a family-owned insurance company with his son, George R. Saenz Jr., being head of the commercial department since 1999. His daughter, Vanessa Saenz, has been in charge of personal lines since 2000 and his son, Thomas Saenz, recently joined the company after graduating from Texas State-San Marcos in 2006.
