What is Crocodile Encounter? Crocodile Encounter is a continually growing facility that specializes in educating the public about our natural world. A place where the only place to be closer to a crocodile is to be eaten by one. But don't worry about that here, your perfectly safe as you travel the boardwalk that is interwoven between natural habitats for our animals. Crocodile Encounter is the largest group of crocodiles on display in the state of Texas. We are the premier crocodilian facility in the state.The animal ambassadors that live at our location are some of the most storied, legendary, and feared animals on the planet. Our facility houses one of the largest groups of Nile crocodiles in the United States. In addition to Nile crocodiles many other species of crocodilians and reptiles call Crocodile Encounter home. Our facility is home to numerous species of snakes, lizards, and turtles. We are one of the few facilities in the state with a zoological display permit that allows us to bring alligators to your location for educational purposes. In addition the facility is owned and operated by professional educators that know what is needed for each educational venue.
Crocodile Encounter is the only live reptile show in the state of Texas that gives you the option of having your event at your location or bringing your group to see the big crocs at our location. Want to be a Crocodile Hunter for a day? Having an event and want to bring big crowds? We do hundreds of events across Texas each year. These events can be as small as a child's birthday party or as large as a festival. Crocodiles and alligators make each one unique and entertaining. We get bigger and better every year. We grow as the crocs grow. Our events are never boring!
