Joe Reed, DMD MAGD is an experienced General Dentist. He holds the honor of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is experienced in placing and restoring Dental Implants and performing all areas of General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.  Arlington Dental’s staff is skilled in proving their patient’s with the highest level of comfort in a modern atmosphere. Biography   
Dr. Joseph Reed graduated from Temple University School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He studied diligently and achieved Master status with the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2002 he attended the Montefiore Hospital Program and received a certificate to administer IV Sedation.

Since 2002 he has been administering Conscious Sedation to high fear patients and performing dental services such as implants, smile makeovers, and one-visit crowns for high fear and patients who have special needs.

In 2012 Dr. Reed re-certified in IV sedation at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Patterson NY. Dr. Reed enjoys learning about his profession and providing his patients high quality care. He also enjoys providing dentistry for patients who have stated that they are “too afraid” to visit the dentist.

In 2013 Dr. Reed opened Arlington Dental in Arlington Texas.

Arlington Dental and Dr. Joseph Reed offer a completely unique experience in dentistry. Dr. Reed believes strongly in patient education and in fostering a true understanding in each patient of their unique dental circumstances. He strives to help his patients to understand why they are in their situation, and how they can help themselves to become healthy.

Dr. Reed routinely deals with patients that are medically compromised and has an understanding of how medications and certain medical conditions affect the teeth and mouth. He has dealt with cancer patients undergoing Chemo Therapy, patients recovering from drug and alcohol addictions, patients with diabetes and those with heart disease. He is also committed to working closely with your physician to assure that your treatment does not compromise your medical condition in any way.

Arlington Dental offers a wide variety of dental services including but not limited to endontics – Root Canal, Orthodontics – including Invisalign Clear Braces, and restorative treatment like Cerec one-visit crowns and veneers. Dr. Reed and his team use the latest techniques in sterilization to assure that you are safe during your procedures. The area where our practice differs from the rest is the education and the care that you will receive.

Dr. Reed uses only the highest quality materials for his laboratory fabricated restorations and implants, and utilizes all porcelain materials to achieve a natural look whenever possible.

Dr. Reed has completed extensive training in Dental Implants. He places full sized dental implants because he believes that these are the best most conservative and time tested method of replacing missing teeth. Dr. Reed has trained with Oral Sugeon Arun Garg, DDS at NYU and completed the Surgical and Prosthodontic Continuum offered by Dr. Carl Misch and the Misch International Implant Institute. He continues to study his profession in an effort to provide you with the best modern dental care.
