Our Surgery patients receive priority care after-hours. In addition, Doctor is usually available by phone until 10 p.m. most regular workday evenings to provide care for minor injuries, illnesses, and for diagnostic workups for blood profiles, x-rays and ultrasound.

Heartworm treatments for the removal of heartworms on positive test pets.HematologyDiagnostic blood screens for pre-anesthesia, baseline profiles and diseases.Soft Tissue SurgeryAge warts; Bladder stones; Cesarean Section; Cysts; Neuter; Spay; Reconstructive surgery and Tumors.VaccinationsAll major vaccinations for dogs including; Bordetella, Corona, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Lyme, Parainfluenza, Parvo, Rabies, and Rattlesnake. Additional vaccines offered for cats are: Calici Virus, Chlamydia, Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Leukemia and Rabies. We also have Tetanus antitoxin for dogs & cats and specialty vaccines including Giardia, for those on the show circuit or traveling to remote areas for camping and hiking, or outside the United States. Additional small animal vaccines available by special order.
Dr.Young is from Wichita Falls. His father, Reverend Leland Young , was the minister of Trinity United Methodist Church and his mother Elaine, the organist.
Dr.Young has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in
Wichita Falls since 1985. Karen is from Nocona and works in the Clinic with Dr.Young. With many pets of their own, they enjoy working in the clinic and finding time to perform gospel and bluegrass music at Wesley United Methodist Church, festivals and jam sessions.
