Zechariah 10:1 states that if we ask of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain, the Lord will make bright clouds and give us showers of rain. The rain spoken of by Zechariah the prophet comes with the preaching of the gospel—the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
