Austin Sign Language School (ASLS), incorporated in 1977 by the late Fran Herrington-Borre, is a non-profit organization which offers quality sign language instruction for adult students, ages 14 and above, in the Austin, Texas and surrounding areas. Children's classes, for ages 8-13, meet in the summer at TSD only.
Areas of sign language instruction include Fingerspelling, Manual Communication, Conceptually Accurate Signed English (CASE), American Sign Language (ASL), Contact Sign, Interpreter Training, and Deaf Culture.

Mondays, Lexington: Jan. 10-March 21
Tuesdays, NW Austin: Jan. 11-March 22
Thursdays, South TSD: Jan. 13-March 24
SPRING BREAK MARCH 13-19
5:30 and 7:15 p.m. classes for 10 weeks

Mondays, Lexington: June 13-Aug. 1
Thursdays, South TSD: June 16-August 4
6:00-8:00 p.m. classes for 8 weeks

• SOUTH LOCATION - Thursday Nights Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) Ford/CTE Vocational Building 1102 South Congress Avenue Austin, TX 78704
Enter TSD through the Elizabeth Street gate after 5:30 p.m.

• Classes meet at TSD for 10 weeks on Thursday nights, beginning January 13, 2011 with specific courses scheduled from 5:30-7:00 and 7:15-8:45 p.m. (see schedule)
• NORTHWEST LOCATION - Tuesday nights Westover Hills Church of Christ 8332 Mesa Austin, TX 78759
• Classes meet at Westover Hills Church of Christ in NW Austin for 10 weeks on Tuesday nights, beginning January 11, 2011 with 101 from 5:30-7:00 and 7:15-8:45 p.m., 201 from 5:30-7:00 and 701 from 7:15-8:45 p.m. (see schedule).
• LEXINGTON LOCATION - Monday Nights First Baptist Church 221 3rd Street Lexington, TX 78947
Course 201 is offered from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for 10 weeks on Monday nights at First Baptist Church, Lexington beginning January 10, 2011, with 301 offered 7:15-8:45 p.m.
COST AND REGISTRATION
• The cost is $130.00 per student per course. ($5.00 discount for second family member taking a course during a semester).
