Ahn young ha se yo and welcome to the Austin Family Martial Arts web site. We are a black belt school and a family martial art, and we are proud to have been in Austin since 1992. As a Family Martial Arts Center, we hope to impart positive values in our students, ranging from four and up, through traditional martial arts training.

As you explore this site, you will find information about our martial art, dojang (training hall), and the program we offer. Our instructors are dedicated to the development of our students' mind, body, and spirit in a supportive and safe environment.

Dale and Sandra Amason first met Grand Master Lee in 2007, when they were looking for a martial arts school with a discipline that would improve the muscle tone and skills of their then 6-year-old son Jonathan. After observing a class, big brother Ben (then 12), joined his brother, followed soon by mom Sandra, and sister Kate (then 3 years old). Dale, an electrical engineer with Freescale Semiconductor, was impressed with the excellent workout and family atmosphere offered by Grand Master Lee and his black belt instructors, and joined the rest of the family within a month. Sandra stated, In a culture where activities can pull family members in different directions, Mu Sool Won offers our family shared experiences that challenge and enrich us. Three years later, the Amason family has not only integrated Mu Sool Won into their home school curriculum, but they also see themselves as part of the Mu Sool Won family for many years too come.
