Education – our DFW personal trainer, after claiming the title of Valedictorian of his high school class, graduated Summa Cum Laude from a private university and a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. This is not a common kinesiology or health promotion degree, but rather the same degree required for physical therapy or chiropractic school. In fact, our Dallas personal trainer rejected scholarship money for physical therapy school in order to pursue his passion in preventive health and fitness.

Certification – our DFW personal trainer has earned the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Personal Trainer credential, the only certifying body that publishes it’s own official journal, filled with peer-reviewed clinical studies and health and fitness research reviews. The NSCA-C.P.T. certification was the first to be approved by the NCCA, the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. The NSCA’s certification tests are the ones that most colleges prepare their students to take. When hospital’s hire personal trainers, the NSCA-C.P.T. is often required.

Specific exercises are incorporated to correct for muscle imbalances. Tempo is increased, as well as weight, for clients training for power.
