I strive to conduct appraisals within the guidelines of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the Code of Ethics as promulgated by The Appraisal Foundation. My clients have benefit from my cultivated associates in the appraisal field with a broad range of knowledge and expertise. I am continually increasing my network of contacts around the United States in order to fulfill my fiduciary responsibilities to my clients.

Sharon Ring Rollins has been appraising Personal Property in the greater Houston area since 1991. Her background is Art History and Interior Design, which has served as an excellent base when researching properties. Also fueling Ms. Rollins interest in appraising were her parents and family, who never threw anything away, and always had an interesting story to relay to a captive audience.
Ms. Rollins started studying art at eight years old while the family was on assignment in Europe, and continued her studies at the University of North Texas, in Denton, graduating with a Fine Arts Degree, she became more interested in the study of Interior Design and Decorative Arts while in college.

Sharon has been conducting appraisals for Insurance, Donation, Disposal, Probate, Estate Settlement, and Divorces. She has liquidated estates and assists clients in selling their personal property. Sharon has been an elected board member of the Houston, Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers for six years, serving as the President 2000-2001. She was elected to the Personal Property Committee of the American Society of Appraisers in July of 2002, for a three-year term. And in July of 2003, Sharon was appointed the Membership Chair for the Personal Property Committee to serve on the International ASA Membership Committee. She served as the Secretary for the Personal Property Committee for two years, 2005-2007, and is currently the Vice-chair for the Personal Property Committee elected July 2007, for a two-year term. In August 2005, she was the PPC Education Chair for the International ASA Conference held in Austin, Texas.

Ms. Rollins has completed both Winterhur’s Winter and Fall Institutes, which are two-week concentrated studies of American decorative arts at the museum in Deleware. Both institutes screen and select the applicants for admission.
