The Torch Restaurant first opened in 1957 under the name "THE CHARCOAL HOUSE". Harry Porter took over just a few months later and created the "TORCH RESTAURANT". Harry Porter has passed the flame to Telly Gialouris who continues the tradition of fine dining.
All of our steaks are cooked on the open pit in the main dining room. We do not add any preservatives or tenderizers - they are all natural. From experience, we find that our customers prefer to dine leisurely. However if you would like to have prompt service, please inform your waitperson. We hope that you enjoy your meal.
